Overview
TiTAN is an association of successful, experienced title agents. Membership in TiTAN is made available only to title agents who have successfully demonstrated their ability to deliver the highest quality of products and services with the utmost expertise and client care. As a TiTAN member, you will benefit from the ability to refer orders nationally to other TiTAN members who adhere to the same quality standards. Members will also benefit from the ability to receive referrals. The title agent referral system will facilitate title work transactions between associated title agent partners for sales, searches and escrow transactions. Participating agents will be able to refer work to other agents through a web portal that will track incoming and outgoing referrals to help manage the transaction, generate revenue, provide revenue tracking, and manage service level agreements. Members pay a nominal yearly subscription for full access to the web site and the network benefits.
The following is a summary of the highlights of the TiTAN program.
- Agents are classified by State, County, City, and Zip Code
- A history of every agent indicating, their underwriters, liability limits, number of years in the business, branch locations, title software, source of searches, and title plant usage.
- Participating members must have a brick and mortar location for the counties they service
- Identification of agent’s specialty areas such as Residential, Commercial, Construction, etc.
- All work share fees are quoted at the market rate for their State at the beginning of the referral, eliminating surprises at the end of the transaction.
- Agents will also indicate whether they will do courtesy closings.
- Agents may also use the network to market to Realtors, as they will be able to post the back end of a 1031 to market across the country.
Additional site space available for agents to advertise any value added services that they offer. . For example, if an agent has created their own title software or program for follow-up with the customer.
How it Works
- When an Agent receives an order the system generates an automatic e-mail notification.
- The Agent will then accept or decline the order, and the referring Agent will receive an e-mail notifying them accordingly as to what work share fee is being offered for assistance with that order
- When the commitment is completed, Agents will upload it on the web site and the referring Agent will receive an e-mail notification of its arrival.
- Lenders, Attorneys, Buyers, and Sellers may be added at any time during the transaction. An e-mailed hyper link will take them directly to the commitment.
- When a transaction is settled the transaction will be marked on the web site as “closed”, letting the referring Agent know that the closing has taken place. All payments will be made promptly after the closing.
- The network system will indicate “paid” once the work share fee has been fully paid, alleviating the need for Agents to have to become bill collectors.
- Recordings will be uploaded so Agents will know when they have been completed.
- Upon completion of the transaction, Agents will receive an e-mail survey requesting their feedback as to whether or not they were satisfied with the transaction. . This will ensure proper quality control. If a participating Agent is not performing in accordance with the agreed to terms, they will be removed from the network.
